The OTR11 is a non-contact torque transducer that incorporates a built-in preamplifier and can be used immediately with just a DC12V power supply (300mA). It detects the torsional strain of the rotating shaft using a strain gauge mounted on the torque detection part of the shaft, amplifies and digitizes the signal, and transmits the information from the rotating part's LED to the light-receiving element in the fixed housing, converting it to analog (standard ±2V) for output.
